He had his first snow trip at the age of 2 and had his first water ski set at the age of 4. These early experiences have shaped Igor's lifestyle and interests as he dedicated his life to professional sports. Igor is a multiple times World Cup and Pro Tour medalist, European Champion, Scandinavian champion, Danish champion, 15-time Russian champion in jump, slalom and overall and a Russian record holder. Currently Igor is a top ranked waterskier on the Pro Tour, a team rider for HO Skis and ambassador for companies such as CTI, Garden of Life and Shredfam.
Igor is constantly on the move. You can spot him flying at Moomba Night Jump in Australia, six hours later you might see him surfing at Uluwatu in Bali and few days after that you'll run into him when he heli-skies in St Anton. inFlight is a short film that aims to bring awareness to the sport of WaterSki Flying. A handful of top flyers in the world have come together to work on this project. Our goal is to show what we do and inspire our viewers to get out on the water and believe that nothing is impossible.
